National Association of Black Journalists

The University of Oregon’s chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) creates portfolio work about social justice, entertainment, and culture.

As President of the UO NABJ, I organized weekly meetings including workshops, guest speakers, and passion project facilitation. But it’s more than just a club, this is family.

Though it’s hard to summarize my time in NABJ, read my blog posts below to get a better understanding.

"The University of Oregon consists of 18,446 students but only 456 of them are Black. The University has always had a small percentage of Black students on campus, which has pushed them to find community through student organizations."
